About Us

Home Run Hounds is a 501(c)3 New York State Non-Profit Corporation.  We are volunteer based and 100% non-profit.  Our mission is to save the lives of animals and find them 

wonderful, loving homes.  

We DO adopt out of state, so if there is a dog that seems perfect for you or your family,  do not hesitate to 

complete an adoption application!

We also need fosters! If you are willing to allow a dog to stay with you until he finds his forever home, please complete a foster application.  Many of the dogs on our Adoptables page need a foster home!

Home Run Hounds rescues animals from shelters, who could be facing death.  Over two million dogs are euthanized in shelters across the Unites States each year, simply due to over-population.  This is a devastating number.

We also help dogs who are living on the street and need homes.  Sadly, in many U.S. cities there exists an overwhelming 

amount of stray dogs. 

With your help, Home Run Hounds gives animals a chance at life and we find them loving homes.  We cannot do this without our volunteers or the help of your kind donations. Home Run Hounds also helps other animal rescue groups 

by providing and sharing resources so that 

they can also save animals from death.
