About Us

Home Run Hounds is a 501(c)3 New York State Non-Profit Corporation.  We are volunteer based and 100% non-profit.  Our mission is to save the lives of animals and find them 

wonderful, loving homes.  

Home Run Hounds rescues animals from shelters, who could be facing death.  Over two million dogs are euthanized in shelters across the Unites States each year, simply due to over-population.  This is a devastating number.

With your help, Home Run Hounds gives animals a chance at life and we find them loving homes.  We cannot do this without our volunteers or the help of your kind donations. Home Run Hounds also helps other animal rescue groups by providing and sharing resources so that they can also save animals from death.
